Frequently Asked Questions
RV inspections and service in Los Angeles and across California.
How much does an RV inspection cost?
Starting prices are $650 for a travel trailer, $850 for a Class C motorhome, and $1,250 for a Class A motorhome. The final quote depends on location, size, and add-ons such as fluid testing or extended reports.
Do you serve the Los Angeles area?
Yes. Ellis RV is based in the Los Angeles area, and Los Angeles County is the home service area. I also serve all of California and am happy to travel north or south, with premium options for longer-distance, high-end, and out-of-state work.
Do you sell RVs?
No. Ellis RV is fully independent and does not sell RVs, so the focus stays on accurate condition assessments and straightforward service.
What does the inspection cover?
Major systems: roof and seals, exterior, slide-outs, chassis and engine, tires, electrical (batteries and generator), propane, plumbing, appliances, interior, and safety. You receive a detailed written summary with photos.
Can you bring a new RV from out of state?
Yes. Out-of-state delivery of new units (Midwest and beyond) to California or elsewhere is available, with white-glove coordination with the manufacturer or dealership if you want it.
Do you offer service in Mandarin?
Yes. I work in both English and Mandarin.
